CONVERSION TIME FOR IMPLEMENTING NEW C/O FORM D
Based on the report of the 35th ASEAN Economic Ministers' Meeting (35th AFTA Council) and Mid-term meeting of the Sub-Committee on Origin of Goods in ASEAN (ISSL SC-AROO), Following official dispatch No. 1568/TCHQ-GSQL dated May 4, 2022, The General Department of Customs guides the implementation of C/O form D (including C/O transmitted through the national single window system (Electronic C/O) and paper C/O) Specifically as follows:
– For C/O issued during the transition period from May 1, 2022 to October 31, 2022, Customs authorities accept old C/O form D (prescribed in Circular No. 19/2020/TT-BCT) and new C/O form D.
– For C/O form D issued from November 1, 2022, Customs authorities only accept C/O form D issued in the new form.
4 ASEAN countries are Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam issue all Form D certificates of origin electronically (e-Form D) from July 2022, in which the hard copy e-form D is only released when ASW has technical problems. This is progress in implementing the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement (AT LEAST).

– Enter the electronic C/O form D number
– Select type: import/export/domestic
– Select search and compare results with the yellow frame.
